Narrabeen is a suburb in the Northern beaches of Sydney about 19km from the City Centre. This location is on a rock shelf just behind Narrabeen Rock Pool, which is one of the most iconic rock pools along Sydney’s coast line. Click here to see an image of Narrabeen Rock Pool.
On the rock shelf there is this gully in the rocks where the water flows down when the tide is low and there is a decent swell. This areas is also known as Narrabeen Gorge. I love how the water rushes towards you and cascades over the rocks, and I really enjoy capturing this water movement. I was very lucky on this particular morning as the cloud was perfect and the sky went pastel pink. It was a beautiful sight.
